June 3- Today was Baseline/Sono and injection overview
Well since I was going to be taking a longer lunch I decided to come into work a little early. When I got in things were a little out of whac. People seemed tense.... There was a reason they were laying people off! Today of all days! The group I am apart of were the ones let go. YIKES! Bad timing for a Doctor appt right?!? It was a pretty stressful morning not knowing if I was going to be the next one. We arrived at my appt and they got me back right away. My bladder wasn't full enough for a mock transfer so I had to sit there and drink 3 bottles of water. Let me tell you on a empty stomach of stress lol it wasn't the greatest feeling. The embryologist came in and talked to us about what to expect and the process of the egg retrieval and transfer. The nurse came in and did a sono to see if my cervix was thin and to check ovaries. She said everything was good there. Next mock transfer- that crap was so uncomfortable! I think full bladder hurts more then giving blood! I rather get poked a million times! After that mess was over we met with the nurse to go over injections. It was lots of information to absorb but I think we got it! Well atleast jeremy does :) Saturday is blood test to determine if shots start that night!
